What is PTA’s role in my student’s education?
PTA’s mission is “to positively impact the lives of all children and families.” We work with teachers, administrators, community members, the school district, and of course, our students, to further their education and improve their physical and mental well-being.
What does PTA do at Stone Valley?

If you have time and interest, please be sure to let us know when you register or visit our “Volunteers Needed” list for opportunities throughout the school year. We have open spots in PTA and we welcome your perspectives and special talents to make Stone Valley exceptional for our school community.
All on-campus volunteers must go through the BE A MENTOR program to be cleared for on campus volunteering, such as lunch duties and field trips. Here is the link for more details on how to become an approved volunteer!
As a PTA member, you will also have access to membership perks offered by the California State PTA and the National PTA. PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization TAX ID: 94-2627359.
Exceptional Education
SRV Council of PTA's Exceptional Education (formerly Special Needs) Committee - PTA’s Exceptional Education Committee fosters collaboration among parents, teachers, schools, and the community to support children with special needs.
